specifications. With over 140,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing, we can supply custom industrial gears and gear boxes in both small
job shop and high production quantities. Wilcox's gear cutting (AGMA class 10), gear grinding (AGMA class 14), machining and
fabrication capabilities are trusted by our clients all over the world.
Gear Cutting
Hobbing, shaping, flycutting, Sykes herringbone cutting Maag shaping - both conventional and hard cutting (allows us to cut
narrow gap double helical gears).

Gear Machining
Vertical turning to 50’ with live spindle. Shaft turning to 76" diameter. OD grinding to 72" diameter. Keyseating to 60" stroke
with indexable table.
Gear Fabrication
Large welded gear blanks to 238" diameter with furnace stress relieving.
Housing machining
Horizontal Boring Mills to 9” spindles, 7 axis CNC floor mill with 20’ index table.
Form grinders to 6 meters (237" diameter) AGMA class 14 with internal grinding capability to 137”OD gear blank.
